The Chronolog is an audio player that has been designed for playing the highest quality digital media. The Chronolog will enable you to get the maximum possible audio enjoyment from your musical treasures. The Chronolog copies the music from the CD onto an internal Solid State Drive (SSD) and then plays it from there. This means that you can keep your CDs safely in their cases, without the risk of them being damaged through use.
The CD II meets the highest standards in terms of design and overall build quality, incorporating all the features that characterize a true high-end source component. Its amazing musicality begins with a top tier transport that ensures optimum data retrieval from the medium. To achieve outstanding tonal characteristics, special attention has benefited even the smallest details. A master clock synchronizes all digital audio data and circuitry to minimize jitter. Custom designed output filters effectively prevent Aliasing.
The NW-T/DSD is a new outstanding Network-Transport design with its “tube buffered digital output stage”. The Network-Transport can be connected with any external DAC or CD-player with a digital input (DAC section). Special attention was paid to the tube-power supply and the digital output signal. That is, to a large extent, because this digital interface is significantly involved to achieve “analog-magic” sound properties in the external DAC. The NW-T/DSD was designed to maintain all advantages of a tube (in the power supply as well as in the digital output stage) in combination with streaming. The NW-T/DSD uniquely unifies both and offers a new dimension of sound far above its class.
Nexus of time and space; dynamic gateway between digital and analogue worlds. HYBRID from Latin aerius – ‘air’ or ‘atmosphere,’ and late Latin aera – denoting an epoch from which time is reckoned.
The Aeris is the product of a close collaboration between Jeff Rowland Design Group and Holm Acoustics, a Danish company founded by Thomas Holm that specializes in signal processing products for high end audio applications.
The Aeris is much more than the successful result of a synergistic collaboration between the two companies. The high degree of complementary synergy between the two teams working in parallel can only be defined as a case of true organic design.
After more than 5 years’ production time of the CD-T, and its unsurpassed success, we have decided to essentially rework it and equip it with some special features. We have kept the legendary Philips Pro drive (in our opinion one of the best sounding CD-drive ever built and reissued again), the dual digital tube buffer with 6H14 (operating in the MHz range) and of course the typical elegant and timeless “Ayon” chassis. Special attention was paid to the new clocking system, the modified power supply, the new dual ground system and the possibility of raising the bitrate of the CD to DSD 128 by means of our DSD-converter module (optional).

Put simply, the Blu MkII upscaling CD transport sets new standards for CD sound quality by using the very latest FPGA technology to implement advanced proprietary filtering and upscaling techniques. Our next-generation CD transport incorporates a powerful new FPGA core with extraordinary capability.
Blu MkII’s sophisticated WTA (Watts Transient Alignment) filtering and upscaling algorithms can output digital data at 705.6kHz (16 x CD’s 44.1kHz native resolution). When partnered with the critically acclaimed DAVE DAC/preamp, with its 705.6kHz-capable digital inputs, the Blu MkII sets a new technical benchmark for CD performance, while redefining sound quality from the medium.
Marantz CD6006 CD Player
The new CD5005 incorporates everything its predecessor, the CD5004, offered including the Marantz-own HDAM-SA2, but this year it features an upgraded DAC CS4398 and new CD mechanism - both taken from its big brother, the CD6005. As you\'d expect, it plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs as well as MP3 and WMA files. It includes customised components for sound tuning and an extra-reliable CD transport mechanism. The Audio EX(clusive) mode further enhances sound quality by switching off functions such as digital output and pitch control when not in use. The random play function will give you another option to explore your music in a new way. Also new for this year is an upgraded remote controller as well as low-power stand-by and auto stand-by modes.
The centerpiece of the DP-950 is its ultra-massive SA-CD/CD drive with highly rigid, high-precision construction. This is complemented by an ultra-strong power supply featuring two high-efficiency toroidal transformers and an array of filtering capacitors. The result is an SA-CD/CD transport that delivers a digital signal of unsurpassed purity.

The DC-37 inherits the outstanding technology of the DC-901 and DP-720, while opening a new chapter in ultra-advanced and innovative digital signal processing technology. It features an MDSD type D/A converter that achieves straight conversion of the DSD signal and supports 5.6448 MHz (1-bit 2-channel DSD) sources. In keeping with this development, the HS-LINK interface has also been upgraded to Version 2 with significantly expanded sampling frequency and quantization support up to 5.6448 MHz (1-bit 2-channel DSD) and 384 kHz (32-bit 2-channel PCM). The DC-37 also offers convenience and flexible functionality. External digital sources can be connected via a total of six digital inputs: HS-LINK, COAXIAL 1, COAXIAL 2, OPTICAL 1, OPTICAL 2, and USB.
The Masterpiece Series has in fact been on our internal road map for some years, but was not supposed to be introduced until 2011. However as the number of requests from the market increased, we decided to bring development forward and launch this very special series early. We think it is some- what fitting for a range of products that are ahead of their time!
In 1989, Rotel confirmed its digital audio expertise with the launch of the RCD-855 CD player. The press was overwhelming in its praise, one critic going so far as to call it “The steal of the century”, and since then Rotel has never looked back.
The CD14 design begins with a carefully engineered power supply to ensure separate, ripple-free voltage and current to both digital and analogue circuits. It maintains the same clean lines and intuitive operation as the other 14 series models, while demonstrating an uncanny ability to resolve even the smallest musical details in a recording.
Marantz NA8005 USB DAC Airplay Network Audio Player with USB-DAC connects to everything – to your PC, external hard disc, your NAS as well as to Internet radio and music service Spotify Connect. Moreover, the DAC-mode features optical and coaxial digital input as well as USB-B which means you can use the NA8005’s high-quality DAC and high-quality audio output stage with HDAM-SA2 modules for music directly streamed from your PC. We are proud to introduce a sonically breath-taking model that may be the most musical and musically accurate Network-Player, the tube based S-5.
The S-5 offers new dimensions of transparency and holographic. It immediately shows a large soundstage, greater transient speed top-to-bottom, purer resolution of low-level detail and expanded dynamic contrasts, with more bass slam, definition and extension. Compromise was not built into the S-5 design.
Ayon Audio is pleased to introduce the superb audiophile “Sigma” digital/analog converter. The Sigma is also prepared for computer playback and general DSD professional audio use. The single-ended output stage and a differential gain stage are composed of a high performance 6H30 tube per channel. The Sigma DAC features a vastly overrated, high capacity power supply for the analog output stage with tube rectification and an oversized power transformer. The sound is powerful with fantastic bass performance, super dynamic, airy, detailed and holographic. The Sigma offers an outstanding price/performance and value.
