The SM-100 was the very first power amplifier to come out of the Vitus Audio design studio. A true balanced amplifier that changed the marketplace and made clear what a monaural power amplifier should provide to the user. The initial design was housed in two chassis but we always intended to create a four chassis system to separate power circuitry from audio circuitry.

The new driver stage for the Crossfire Evo amplifier has been completely new re-designed and is operating now by our own new AA20B driver tube as well to provide for the shortest signal path and the most direct signal flow. The Melody MDA2 integrated tube amplifier is a stable Class A amplifier in Melody’s mid-range products. This tube amp offers an output power of 2x 13 watts pure Class A amplification.

The legendary 777 Preamplifier, invented and built by Burmester in 1977, is regarded as the foundation of success for Burmester Audiosysteme. The flagship among the Burmester preamplifiers, which has been produced in various versions since 1980, has undergone new and extensive modifications and now carries the name 808 MK 5. Well-tried characteristics remain the same, but many things were fundamentally adapted, as if leaping a fifth, in order to prepare for the next millennium. (Due to this leap of a fifth, there is no MK 4 version. 4 is also an unlucky number in Asia, and with respect to this important market we will no longer have a 4 in our newer model names.)

Current Feedback Amplifier

The Current Feedback Amplifier technology provides wide-bandwidth and high-speed sound reproduction. In combination with the high current power supply, the PM6007\'s amplifier section holds a large energy reserve to easily drive even the most demanding speakers. An advanced thermal compensation avoids memory distortion for clean amplification under any circumstances.

The N-05XD is an evolution of their N-05 network player, but improves on this not only in streaming performance, but adds an analogue input, preamplifier section, headphone amplifier and even offers bluetooth integration for the first time from Esoteric. A truly all-in-one device that can be a single-box solution for a headphone setup or active speakers, or pair with a power amplifier for a simple yet masterful two-box hifi setup.

Creating a component improving upon the much admired SIA-025 was never going to be an easy task. The goal was to design an integrated amplifier that offered that more power and more options, an amp that remained modular, that offered the same elegant looks and the compact chassis of its siblings in the Signature Series.
