The TRV - 100 is a pre-amplifier of high quality with eight high-level-inputs and two separately switchable outputs. Two of the eight inputs as well as one output are supplied in symmetrical design. The inputs 7 and 8 can also be used as input for a tape-recorder because there are also two record-outputs belonging to these two inputs.

The internally full balanced DIALOG preamplifier uses an entirely modular architecture and can be equipped with up to eight gain modules, either for input or output. It is therefore extraordinarily versatile and entirely customizable to the individual needs of your system. New modules can easily be added at any time, which makes the preamplifier virtually future-proof. The user can chose from single-ended and balanced analog line input and output modules, a phono module with adjustable gain and loading for MC and MM cartridges and a digital input module with coaxial and optical S/PDIF inputs as well as a USB input, all compatible with 24 bit, 192 kHz sources. Each slide-in module is self-contained in its own aluminium casing, thus providing superior shielding against RFI and EMI. 

UnicoPRE is a hybrid stereo pre amplifier with a quasi-dual-mono and fully balanced configuration, designed with the aim of giving the best performances, a perfect integration with every audio system and the maximum versatility. The quasi-dual-mono configuration is well represented by the connectors layout on the rear panel.

After we completed the design of our flagship Reference monoblock power amplifiers, we created a need for a preamplifier with the same features and sound quality. We came up with a preamplifier design worthy of that series, the Reference PRE. Made with the care and attention detail that characterizes all products from Unison Research, the Reference PRE preamplifier is truly another milestone in audio reproduction.

The RC-1590 stereo preamplifier has been engineered to the highest audio performance levels, and provides and incredible level of control and flexibility for the use. Starting with a high performance power supply consisting of two Rotel custom built toroidal transformers for maximum efficiency and low magnetic fields, these transformers provide low-noise isolation between the analogue and digital regulator circuits with custom-made slit-foil capacitors. These have very quick charge/discharge times and low signal loss ensuring tight bass performance.

Four AA45 Mesh-triodes of our own proprietary production, coupled with the unique quadruple VTC volume control, a special circuit design with four separate tube grid bias drivers, and the shortest thinkable signal path underline this absolutely exceptional concept in the world of preamps.

The new XP-12 starts with a new power supply. It uses an efficient toroidal design with both an electrostatic and Mu metal shield along with vacuum impregnating and epoxy fill. This gives us a very quiet transformer both electrically and mechanically.

The power supply circuitry itself is also lower noise and has additional filtering, a little more complicated but worth it.

The new design uses double shielded low noise toroidal transformers in external supply connected via aviation grade circular connectors using silver over oxygen free copper. The power supply is dual mono with two transformers with lower radiated and mechanical noise. Noise is the most prominent part of THD+N at low levels, so by lowering noise we get better resolution and dynamics.

The gain circuitry continues to use our favorite transistors from Toshiba but has a larger, higher biased, output stage like the Xs Preamp, and includes auto bias.

In PassLabs we are constantly working on and listening to new circuits and components, increasing our knowledge and seeking better sound and enhanced product reliability. That time has come for the XP-32.

The new design uses uses double shielded low noise torroids in a true dual mono topology for the gain channels and another transformer, linear power supply dedicated to the control architecture.

This large, dual-chassis preamplifier is built in true dual-mono arrangement. Each channel has its own power supply board with over 100,000uf of capacitance for unfettered transient response. Noise levels have been dropped from the already low-noise XP30. Refined circuit design and layout, new gain-stages with auto-bias and DC compensation all combine for optimal performance. But it all comes down to sound; once you listen to the Xs preamplifier, there is no going back.
