The E-800 is positioned above the E-650 as the new flagship model in the integrated amplifier lineup of Accuphase. The preamplifier section features the impeccable Balanced AAVA type volume control, while the power amplifier section is configured as an instrumentation amplifier using a six-fold parallel push-pull configuration of power MOS-FETs driven in pure Class A. The Melody AN211 is a Single Ended Triode (SET)16 watts/ch. class A integrated amplifier that uses the 211×2, 4P1Sx2, 12AX7x1, 5U4x1 tube complement. It weighs in at 88 pounds, has four RCA and one set of balanced inputs, hand soldered point-to-point wiring, a larger-than 88dB signal-to-noise ratio and 1% THD.

The RC1572 MKII features Rotel’s ultra-low noise power supply. The transformer design reduces stray radiated emissions and feeds a bank of slit-foil. Low ESR capacitors also deliver stable current to all sensitive circuits reducing noise distortion.
