The Xtension 10 chassis is made from MDF filled with metal sand, with high mass and ultra-low resonance. The TARA Labs Grand Master Evolution Digital Interconnect uses a pair of TARA labs proprietary, special RSC® Gen 3 Rectangular Solid Core® conductors.

NOTE: Gen 3 conductors are only available in the Grand Master Evolution series cables. In the AES/EBU format, the conductors are critically spaced to ensure an exacting 110 Ohm characteristic impedance; this is the AES/EBU format used with XLR connectors. The strip is made using high quality components. The distortion is filtered in a RLC filtering block. It is built using metalized polyester capacitors with low inductance and an IP (Iron Powder) filtering core. The tonearm is one of the most important parts of a turntable and therefore not only influences, but also shapes the sound in a specific way. We did in-depth listening tests with different bearing types, tonearm materials and also cartridge combinations to develop the sound we are looking for.

The Cadenza Bronze model is using a Replicant 100 stylus and a conical aluminium cantilever. The coil wire is the famous Ortofon Aucurum wire, which is a gold plated 6NX copper wire. The Field Stabilizing Element (FSE), is used for optimal linearity especially during complex crescendo passages.

The C-57’s configuration provides a fully balanced phono equalizer from input to output. The combination of a high precision equalizer amplifier and a dedicated MC/MM head amplifier fully optimized for the cartridge characteristics creates a highly accurate phono equalizer. As a first, the MC head amplifier uses ANCC to further improve noise performance. Dedicated MC phono balanced inputs allow for balanced connections with record players. The C-57 combines only the best technological advances to extract the full potential of analog discs.
