PF-2 EVO is the improved version of the advanced filtering power strip designed to power and protect Hi-Fi audio and video systems.

The strip is made using high quality components. The distortion is filtered in a RLC filtering block. It is built using metalized polyester capacitors with low inductance and an IP (Iron Powder) filtering core. The EVO version uses the highest quality capacitors manufactured by Miflex according to Gigawatt specifications. All components of the filters, are mounted with silver solder on a massive, double-sided printed circuit board with very large cross-sections.

The TARA Labs Grand Master Evolution Digital Interconnect uses a pair of TARA labs proprietary, special RSC® Gen 3 Rectangular Solid Core® conductors.

NOTE: Gen 3 conductors are only available in the Grand Master Evolution series cables. In the AES/EBU format, the conductors are critically spaced to ensure an exacting 110 Ohm characteristic impedance; this is the AES/EBU format used with XLR connectors. The RSC Gen 3 conductors are smaller than the Gen 2 version, and this provides an extremely extended bandwidth for the digital signal.

The C-57’s configuration provides a fully balanced phono equalizer from input to output. The combination of a high precision equalizer amplifier and a dedicated MC/MM head amplifier fully optimized for the cartridge characteristics creates a highly accurate phono equalizer. This conditioner effectively protects from any kind of interference and overvoltage in the power grid, but most of all warrants visible improvement of the sound and picture quality in the powered devices.

The Cadenza Black model is using a Nude Shibata stylus with a boron cantilever. The effective mass of the stylus and cantilever system is extremely low due to the use of a very thin boron rod. This material is extremely stiff and even more lightweight than aluminium.

It also uses the WRD/Wide Range Damping-system applied for MC Windfeld, MC A90, MC Anna, Xpression), controlling the high and low frequency damping separately.
